Transit Services for Seniors and Disabled PersonsHSI Transporter The transporter is available Monday through Friday. ADA-certified persons have extended hours and days. Ask about fares when you call to arrange a ride. HSI Transporter Services can take you anywhere in Washington County. Trips outside of the county also are available to specific destinations and medical facilities in St. Paul. In addition, the transporter can take riders to a Metro Transit bus line to make connections to destinations throughout the metro area. To arrange a ride on the HSI Transporter, call (651) 275-4300. Ride requests are taken four days in advance of your travel date; limited same day service is available. You will need to know your service area. Metro Mobility Persons with disabilities must be ADA-certified. Completion of an Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) application is required. Call Metro Transit Customer Services at (651) 602-1111 (TTY 651-221-9886) to get an application form. The certification process takes up to 21 days once the completed application is received.
