Winter Parking Ordinance

The Winter Parking ordinance is intended to make the snow removal process more efficient. Roads that are cleared of snow are safer and easier to travel on. These ordinances stipulate when parking is prohibited during the winter.

16.04.01   Between November 1 and April 1, on-street parking is prohibited between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.
On-street parking is also prohibited any time two or more inches of snow have accumulated, until after the street has been completely plowed. The two-inch guideline applies to any hour of the day and any time of the year.

16.04.02   Any person who shall commit any act that is forbidden by the provisions of this ordinance shall be issued an administrative citation.
