Minnesota Night to Unite

Minnesota Night to Unite is observed annually on the first Tuesday of August. The event is designed to promote local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and heighten crime and drug prevention awareness.

The City of Woodbury encourages neighborhoods to observe the Minnesota Night to Unite by holding block parties on and around that date. The city has put together block party packets to assist residents in planning events.

Included in the packet is an application requesting that a city staff member bring a police, fire, or other vehicle to your block party. Completed applications should be submitted to the Public Safety Department. City staff will make every effort to visit as many events as possible.
