Public Fingerprinting
The Woodbury Public Safety Department provides fingerprinting services to Woodbury residents only. A photo ID is required.
Cost is $10 per resident for up to three fingerprint cards. Payment should be made in cash or by check payable to the City of Woodbury. Credit cards are NOT accepted at this time. The fingerprint cards should be retained by the resident. Copies are not kept on file at the Public Safety Department.
Operation Child Print
It is the policy of the Woodbury Public Safety Department to fingerprint children, free of charge,
at the request of their parents. The fingerprint card should be retained by the parents in
a safe place (safety deposit box, etc.), along with an updated picture
of the child. Copies are not kept on file at the Public Safety Department. Generally, children under age 3 are not fingerprinted because
it is difficult to obtain legible prints from them.
Fingerprinting services are provided Monday through Friday, from 8:30 to 11 a.m., and again from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Questions regarding fingerprinting should be directed to (651) 714-3600.
Staff may be able to accommodate an appointment outside of these hours. To inquire, call Kim Petersen at (651) 714-3689.
