Police Services

The Woodbury Police Department consists of the following divisions: Patrol, Investigations and Support Services.

The Police Department has 63 sworn officers, two police canines, 10 civilian support staff and seven community service officers. In addition, there are approximately 30 persons who volunteer in the Reserve, Explorer, Police Chaplaincy and Support Services Volunteer Programs.

The Woodbury Public Safety Department has fully integrated its Police, Fire and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) divisions, meaning police officers are cross-trained as either paramedics or firefighters, resulting in improved overall efficiency and effectiveness of emergency services in the city.
