The warming houses at Woodbury's outdoor skating rinks are currently closed due to the weather conditions.
The warming houses at Woodbury's outdoor skating rinks opened for the season on Dec. 19. Residents are strongly encouraged to call the weather line at (651) 714-3569 for the most up-to-date status on the outdoor skating rinks and warming houses.
The City of Woodbury Parks and Recreation Department operates five warming houses at selected outdoor skating rinks throughout the winter season.
The outdoor skating rinks will close during extreme weather. For the latest warming house information, call the City of Woodbury information line at (651) 714-3569.
Some hockey rinks are reserved for Woodbury Area Hockey Club practices from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Refer to the rinks for the specific schedule.

Public Skating Rinks - No Warming Houses
The city maintains unsupervised general skating rinks at the following locations:
Pioneer Park, 2670 Wimbledon Drive
Tamarack Nature Preserve, 1825 Tower Drive
Note: It is illegal to drive or park on park paths without proper authorization.
Cold Weather Policy
During extreme cold weather, outdoor activities are not recommended. Therefore,
warming houses will be closed and outdoor programs will be cancelled when
the air temperature is -10 degrees or lower, or when the wind-chill is
-35 degrees or lower. For the protection of your children, please keep
them home on those days.
Rink Reservation Policy
To reserve a hockey rink or warming house, you must contact the Parks
and Recreation Department at (651) 714-3583 between the hours of 8 a.m.
and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at least five days in advance of
the proposed date of usage. Warming houses can only be reserved for
times when the site is normally closed. Fee is $35 an hour with a two-hour minimum. |
