There is no admission fee to Central Park. However, there are charges for room and amphitheater rental and the use of the playground.

Amphitheater
Cost: $107.13 per hour (two-hour minimum)

The amphitheater seats 200 people and is a perfect site for a conference, seminar or ceremony. It includes a full size pull-down screen. Audio/visual services are available through our sound and light technician for $37.49 per hour with a minimum of two hours. A baby grand piano is available for an additional fee of $133.91 per event. Hourly fee available during our regular park hours.

Photo Shoots
Cost: $80.34 per hour

Reserve time at Central Park to take professional photos. It is a beautiful location for family, wedding, or graduation professional photos. Hourly fee available during our regular park hours.

Entire Park Rental (For events after 6 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays)
Central Park is a wonderful venue for a special event, anniversary party, company party, holiday party, birthday party or groom's dinner. The entire park can accommodate 250 people seated at banquet tables throughout the park. Rental includes Tamarack Conference Room, Valley Creek Banquet Room, kitchen, amphitheater, outdoor patio, and upper level park and plaza area. A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date. Extra hours may be arranged on a first-come, first-served basis. Rental time is from 6 p.m. to midnight. All belongings must be out of the building by 1 a.m. Outside food catering is permitted by Minnesota licensed caterers. If alcohol will be served at the event, you must go through our exclusive beverage caterer, Complete Beverage Service, and an additional fee will be applied for a security officer.

Other facilities available for rent:

Priorities will be given to:

  1. City of Woodbury programs, activities, and co-sponsored programs and activities.
  2. Rentals will be done on a first-come, first-served basis.

Rules and regulations

  1. Banquet room renters must use a licensed caterer for food/beverage items.
  2. Thorough cleanup of all meeting rooms is the responsibility of the renter or sponsoring organization.
  3. All garbage and recyclables are to be placed in the trash receptacle(s) provided in each room.
  4. Alcoholic beverages shall not be stored, served or consumed in the Oak and Tamarack rooms.
  5. For banquet room rentals or full facility rentals only, with a licensed caterer, alcoholic beverages are allowed but cannot be sold without a permit.
  6. Alcoholic beverages cannot be sold, served or consumed by persons under the age of 21.
  7. All persons attending any event at Central Park shall abide by the policies of the City of Woodbury facilities.

At their discretion, City of Woodbury staff, authorized representative or a Public Safety officer may:

  • Order the removal of any offender.
  • Order immediate removal of alcoholic beverages from premises.
  • Revoke the permit immediately and order all persons from premises.

Scheduling Instructions:

  1. Central Park rooms will be available on a first request basis. You must contact the scheduling coordinator at (651) 714-3586 to reserve space. Entire park or banquet room rentals on Fridays and Saturdays from 6 p.m. to midnight are available.
  2. The person renting the room shall assume full responsibility of any unlawful activities as well as supervise the conduct of all group attendees.
  3. Resident fees apply to Woodbury residents and businesses located within the City of Woodbury. Non-resident fees apply to groups and businesses not located within the City of Woodbury. Fees for corporate events are based on location of the company or business, not the individual employee.
  4. No spaces are held or "penciled in" over the phone. No rooms (except Valley Creek Room) will be booked until payment is received. All fees must be paid in full two weeks prior to the event.
  5. Full facility rentals require a $350 deposit. Balance of rental is due no later than fourteen (14) days prior to the event date. Cancellations within thirty (30) days will result in forfeiture of the $350 deposit.
  6. Full facility rentals may be reserved up to eighteen (18) months in advance.
  7. All Friday/Saturday events must end no later than midnight and all individuals attending must vacate no later then 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday rentals must vacate by 9 p.m.
  8. Renters may use only the space approved on the contract for use. Leave spaces as you found them, including replacing items moved.
  9. One contact person must be designated to oversee all arrangements with the City of Woodbury. This will help ensure a quality event for the renter. This person is responsible for making an on-site appointment with a City of Woodbury staff member to finalize arrangements a minimum of two weeks prior to the event.
  10. The City of Woodbury and its employees are not responsible for any problems that occur with any event that has not had an on-site meeting with City of Woodbury staff.
  11. Although fees and room application forms may be accepted by mail or at the City of Woodbury, do not consider the rooms held for your group until a permit is issued by the Scheduling Coordinator.
  12. The City of Woodbury offices are open Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Requests received evenings or weekends will be processed within 2 to 3 business days after receipt, excluding holidays observed by the City of Woodbury.

Food and Beverage

The City of Woodbury will allow clients renting the banquet room to utilize catering services of their choice. Caterers will be required to contact the City of Woodbury staff at least two weeks in advance of the event date to review the following regulations:

  1. No food preparation will take place on site.
  2. All food product and waste is to be removed off-site following the event.
  3. Catering license must be sent seven (7) days prior to the event.
  4. Specific room set-up instructions and staging requirements must be provided at least one week prior to the event.
  5. All table linens must be removed and tables wiped with sanitation solution.
  6. All caterers providing alcohol service must possess a caterer's permit to serve alcohol, liquor liability insurance, and caterer's must provide the City of Woodbury Public Safety Department with documentation.
  7. No alcohol service will be allowed without a licensed and insured provider.
  8. Rentals with alcohol service must contact the Scheduling Coordinator at (651) 714-3586 for security services.
