Carver Lake Park & Beach

Facilities within the park include a swimming beach, large group picnic shelter, picnic area, playground, archery range and off-road cycling trail.

Carver Lake Beach is an unguarded beach -- no lifeguard is on duty. Swim at your own risk.  Park guests are allowed to swim from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Carver Lake Beach

Carver Lake Beach is located in Carver Lake Park at 3175 Century Avenue South in Woodbury. The park is a 150-acre natural resource based park that includes woods, steep lakeshore bluffs, and a 40-acre deep lake. Facilities in the park include a swimming beach, large group picnic shelter, picnic area, and playground.

Carver Lake Beach is an unguarded beach -- no lifeguard is on duty. Swim at your own risk.  Park guests are allowed to swim from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily.

Beach Rules

(Please refer to signage on site for beach rules and regulations.)

  1. Children age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult
  2. Swimming is not allowed outside of the beach area
  3. No glass containers
  4. No smoking
  5. No pets
  6. Boating and fishing are not allowed within 50 feet of swimming area

Safety Tips

  1. Actively supervise children in and around open bodies of water, giving them undivided attention.
  2. Appoint a designated water watcher, taking turns with other adults.
  3. Keep a cell phone nearby in case of an emergency.
