Facilities & Reservations

Facility use permits can be obtained for the exclusive use of a specific facility for a given date and time. Outdoor shelters are available between April 15 and Oct. 15. Buildings are available for rental daily between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. Outdoor, open air shelters are available for rental daily between the hours of 9 a.m. and 9 p.m.
Note: Specific park buildings may be used as warming houses during the winter between late December through the end of February, weather permitting, and will not be available for private rental. 

Requests to reserve picnic shelters, a specific park area, building or field, may be made by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department at (651) 714-3583. Reservations are accepted, with full payment of the applicable rental fee and damage deposit, the first business day in January for the following year, or at least two (2) weeks in advance of the proposed date(s) of usage. Tennis, volleyball, basketball and horseshoe courts are available on a first come, first served basis, except when officially reserved for lessons or league programs.


Exclusive Use/Rental of Park Shelter/Building/Athletic Field

Please contact the Park and Recreation Department at (651) 714-3583 to check availability of a specific park shelter/building/athletic field for exclusive use. Reservations are accepted, with full payment of the applicable rental fee and damage deposit, beginning the first business day in January for the following year, or at least two (2) weeks in advance of the proposed date(s) of usage. Special Event Policy Guidelines and Application

Anyone reserving a city facility for a Special Event must adhere to the special event policy guidelines and submit a special event application. Fundraisers, company picnics, races, bike rides, etc., are somes examples of a "Special Event."
    

Cancellation Policy

A reservation refund, along with the full damage deposit, will be given if a reservation is cancelled thirty (30) days or more in advance; however, a 15 percent (15%) administrative processing fee will be charged.
No reservation refund will be given if a reservation is cancelled less than thirty (30) days in advance. (The full damage deposit will be refunded).
No refunds are given due to weather conditions unless the park or facilities are officially closed due to severe, life-threatening weather.
