Housing

Woodbury is committed to maintaining and promoting a wide variety of high quality housing options throughout the city. The city is known for its attractive residential neighborhoods, which are connected by more than 100 miles of multi-use trails and surrounded by 3,000 acres of dedicated park land. Residents have a wide choice of housing, ranging from apartments and townhomes to large-lot estates.

Woodbury is located just east of downtown St. Paul, the state's capital, and is in close proximity to one of Minnesota's largest employers, 3M, and to the St. Croix River Valley, providing a beautiful natural setting and year-round recreational opportunities.

On Dec. 13, the City of Woodbury Housing and Redevelopment Authority held their 5th annual "Get to Know Woodbury" realtor forum.  This year's speakers included Woodbury Mayor Mary Stephens, School District 833 Superintendent Keith Jacobus, and Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis Community Development Manager Michael Grover.

Members of the forum learned about trends in the real estate and mortgage banking industries, heard updates from the school district, and learned about changes to the zoning code that will affect real estate agents. Also included were presentations on development and demographics in Woodbury and information about the Housing and Redevelopment Authority's loan programs.
