Precinct Caucuses and School Board Elections
Precinct Caucuses
The purpose served by the precinct caucuses
of the major political parties is to begin the processes of adopting party
platforms, selecting party officers and delegates to higher conventions
and endorsing candidates for state and national offices. All eligible
voters may attend and participate in their precinct caucuses. However,
no voter may vote or participate in more than one party's caucus in one
year.
In 2010, the precinct caucuses took place on Feb. 2. Precinct caucus locations are available on the Minnesota Secretary of State Web site.
