The City of Woodbury and the Robert Muir Company have announced an agreement to resolve the two lawsuits filed against the City by Tamarack Village Shopping Center. Both lawsuits, involving challenges to approvals given by the City to the Woodbury Lakes Lifestyle Center being developed near the I-94/Radio Drive interchange by Opus Northwest, have been dismissed.
As part of the resolution, the City will be working cooperatively with federal, state and county governments to bring about transportation improvements to address traffic concerns in the area, including construction of a frontage road along the south side of Interstate 94 from Radio Drive to the Woodbury Lakes Lifestyle Center.
"This is a positive outcome for each of the parties," said Mayor Bill Hargis. "The Robert Muir Company, Opus Northwest and the City are moving forward together to make the I-94 and Radio Drive area the leading retail destination in the east metro area."
