Planning Commission

The Planning Division provides staff support to the Planning Commission, which serves as an advisory body to the City Council by making recommendations regarding commercial/industrial site plans, subdivisions, conditional use permits, planning, zoning and sign regulations, and other planning related items. The Planning Commission consists of seven residents appointed by the City Council to three-year staggered terms. The commission meets on the first Monday of each month at 7 p.m. If additional meetings are needed, they will be scheduled on the third Monday of the month.Agendas typically are available on the Friday immediately preceding the meeting and are posted on the city's website. The meetings are open to the public and are cablecast on Channel 16.
