Adult Athletic Leagues
Woodbury Parks and Recreation offers a variety of leagues for adults. All players, on any adult leagues,
must be 18 years of age or older. For more information or to have a registration packet mailed to you,

Fall Softball
Registration/information packets will be mailed to all returning teams in July. All leagues are sanctioned USSSA. Games are doubleheaders and played at the Bielenberg Sports Center fields on various evenings mid-August through early October. We offer league play for men and co-rec teams. Sorry, we only register teams. Players wanting to join a team can call Woodbury Parks & Recreation to be placed on a free agent list. This list is used if teams are looking to add players to their rosters.
2010 Southeast Valley Recreators (SVR) League – Adult Kickball
The SVR league will give teams the opportunity to travel within the southeast Metro to play teams from other leagues. Teams will be placed in a division (East or West) and travel to local cities during the regular season schedule. An all-city league tournament will take place at the end of the season with every team invited. Cities involved in this collaborative include Woodbury, Hastings, Cottage Grove, Inver Grove Heights and South St. Paul/West St. Paul. Cost is $150 per team and includes five weeks of doubleheaders plus the end of the season tournament. Registration closes Monday, May 17. League games will begin Sunday, June 6. Multi-Sport Yard Game League
Grab a friend and sign up for the newest adult league to hit Woodbury. Teams of two compete in a different yard game once a week in a tournament format. Champions will be determined in each event and an overall champion will be crowned. Games will include ladder golf, bags, polesh and bocce ball. All games will be played at the Bielenberg Sports Complex. Registration closes on Monday, May 17, and league games begin on June 3. Cost is $25 per team to register.
Fall Soccer - 8 vs. 8 Leagues
Hey soccer fanatics! 8 vs. 8 men's and co-rec leagues will be offered and played at the Bielenberg Sports Complex this summer. Registration opens on Monday, July 5, and closes on Friday, Aug. 6. League games will be played on Wednesday and Friday evenings, starting Aug. 18 and 20.
Spring Daytime Tennis
Join the tennis program that combines group instruction with supervised match play. This will be a warm-up introduction for the summer program (child care not provided). Program will consist of some instruction and mostly match play.

Adult Summer Tennis
This program allows you to brush up on old skills or for the beginners, learn the game of tennis. This is an eight-week program and will be run in a fun and competitive atmosphere consisting of group lessons, games, mini tournaments and supervised match play (child care not provided). Led by Jon Rydberg, head coach for the East Ridge High School girl's tennis team. Jon is a two-time Paralympian (Athens 2004 and Beijing 2008).
Age: 18 and older
Location: East Ridge High School tennis courts, 4200 Pioneer Drive
One session will be offered per week for beginners and up to two sessions per week for intermediate players. The weeks of Aug. 9 and 16 will be used as rain day make-ups.

Pickleball
Similar to the game of tennis, pickleball is played on a condensed tennis court with a few varied rules.
Free Demo: How to Play Pickleball
An experienced player will teach you the game and rules. Bring water and wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes. All ages are welcome. Equipment will be provided. If plan to participate, please call Woodbury Parks and Recreation at
