Facility Reservations, Fees and Policies

Facility Permits
A variety of facilities are located within the city's park and trail system and are available for use by the public. Facility use permits can be obtained for the exclusive use of a specific facility for a given date and time. Outdoor shelters are available between April 15 and Oct. 15.

Requests to reserve picnic shelters, a specific park area, building or field, may be made by contacting the Parks and Recreation Department at (651) 714-3583. Reservations are accepted, with full payment, the first business day in January for the following year, or at least five days in advance of the proposed date(s) of usage. Tennis, volleyball, basketball and horseshoe courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis, except when officially reserved for lessons or league programs.

Cancellation Policy

• A refund will be given if a reservation is cancelled 30 days or more in advance; however, a 15 percent administrative processing fee will be charged.
• No refund will be given if a reservation is cancelled less than 30 days in advance.
• No refunds are given due to weather conditions unless the park or facilities are officially closed due to severe, life-threatening weather.

All fees do not include a 7.125 percent sales tax.
