The City of Woodbury has approximately 190 full- and part-time employees. In addition, there are approximately 400 paid-on-call, seasonal and temporary staff in a variety of areas. In addition to its paid staff positions, the city has a wide variety of volunteer jobs ranging from the Park Patrol and Police Reserves in the Public Safety Department, to the Adopt-A-Park program sponsored by the Parks and Recreation Department. Members of various city commissions that advise the City Council also serve in a volunteer capacity.
