BACKGROUND

On November 28, 2001 the City Council held a public hearing and approved the City Walk Preliminary Plat and Final Development plan of a previously approved General Plan of Development Planned Unit Development (Case No. 01-14) for City Walk Development. On January 9, 2002, the City Council authorized a preliminary report for the City Walk Addition utility and street improvements including Hudson Road East of CSAH 19 and Storm Sewer for CSAH 19 and Hudson Road Improvements.

DISCUSSION

Preliminary Report - On the basis of the petition received and the Council's previous action, a preliminary report has been prepared. Based upon this analysis the project is felt to be necessary, cost effective and feasible. An executive summary of the preliminary report is attached for the Council's review.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended the Council adopt the attached resolution approving the preliminary report for the City Walk utility and street improvements including Hudson Road East of CSAH 19 and Storm Sewer for CSAH 19 and Hudson Road.
