Well No. 16 Phase I

Approval of Change Order No. 1

SUMMARY

During the construction phase of Well No. 16, staff, contractor and consultants identified the need for additional traffic control beyond the original contract. In order for the contractor to receive payment, it is necessary a change order to the original contract be processed.

RECOMMENDATION

It is recommended that the Council adopt a motion approving Change Order No. 1 for the Well No. 16 Phase I improvements for E.H. Renner & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $1,065.87.

BUDGET IMPACT

This project is funded from the Area and Connection Charge Fund. Sufficient funds are available for this change order.

BACKGROUND

E. H. Renner has submitted Change Order No. 1 for the Well No. 16 Phase I improvements.

This change order provides for barricades installed on a pathway to protect pedestrians and to close a road for approximately two weeks while test pumping activities were being performed. The total amount for this change order is $1,065.87.
